NOTICE – LaHave River

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans wishes to advise that effective June 15, 2011 until October 31, 2011 the following waters of LaHave River, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, are closed to angling for any species of fish by any method.

Cooks Falls within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 376897 4917465;

Veinotes Pool within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 376184 4918835;

Oak Run within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 375350 4921266;

Bruhms Bridge Pool within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 373405 4922794;

Dauphinees Run within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 371950 4923130;

Wentzells Eddy within 200 m upstream and 200m downstream from grid reference 364218 4932739;

Foot of Wentzells Lake within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 370677 4925051;

Cemetery Pool within 200 m upstream and 200m downstream from grid reference 362532 4934175;

Fancys Pool within 200 m upstream and 200 m downstream from grid reference 369999 4930459;

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans wishes to advise that effective June 21, 2011 until October 1, 2011 the following waters of St. Marys River, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia, are closed to angling for any species of fish by any method.

Cumminger Pool the waters between a straight line drawn from grid reference 558274 5013304 to grid reference 558240 5013293 and a straight line drawn from grid reference 558432 5013359 to grid reference 558454 5013407; Refer to map Lochaber 11E/08.

Foot Bridge Pool the waters between a straight line drawn from grid reference 564660 5013228 to grid reference 564718 5013196 and a straight line drawn from grid reference 564836 5013299 to grid reference 564837 5013257; Refer to map Lochaber 11E/08.
